Gene is a U.S.C.G. licensed Captain and is considered one of the top fly and light tackle guides in the Northeast. A native of the Jersey Shore, Captain Gene has been fishing the inshore and offshore waters for over 25 years. Captain Gene is a noted author, photographer, and seminar speaker. He contributes regularly to Fly Fishing in Saltwaters Magazine, Fly Fisherman Magazine, The Fisherman Magazine , and is a featured speaker on the Sport Fishing Magazines , Learn From the Experts Seminar Series. Gene also has a fishing column in the Asbury Park Press newspaper. Captain Gene sits on the national factory team for St. Croix Rod Company, and is on the national prostaff for Parker Boats, Tibor Reels, AVET Conventional Reels, Rio Fly Lines, Spotters Sunglasses, Patagonia, and Korkers.
Currently, Captain Gene is the Director of the New Jersey Professional Fly & Light Tackle Guides Association and sits on the association's national Board of Directors.
Jim is a U.S.C.G. licensed Captain. He has been fishing the inshore waters of the Jersey Shore for over 25 years. Jim is on the national Pro Staff for St. Croix Rod Company, Spotters Sunglasses, Aussie Tackle, AVET Conventional Reels, and Korkers. Jim also has saltwater fishing columns that appear in The Bergen Record , Asbury Park Press , and Coast Star Newspapers. Capt. Allen Gonzalez has been a USCG licensed captain since 2003. He has been fishing the Jersey Shore in and around the Point Pleasant area and to the north and south for the better part of his life.  From catching big spring and fall striped bass on live bunker, jigs or plugs, to catching cod, ling, seabass, blackfish, and other bottom fish on inshore or mid-range wrecks, or drifting local snags, hills, or lumps for big summer fluke, Capt Allen is in his comfort zone as an angler and a captain.  Capt Allen is also an accomplished outdoor writer authoring pieces for such publications as The Fisherman Magazine, On The Water Magazine, and has been featured in Sport Fishing Magazine.  Capt Allen also holds two Masters' degrees, one in Education (TCNJ) and another in Educational Leadership (Montclair State University).

Captain Joe DeGruttola is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain with a OUPV Near Coastal to 100 Miles offshore certificate. He has been fishing and running boats from the Raritan Bay for the past 15 years and has fished for all species of fish from inshore to offshore. Joe has also participated in many tournaments that include Monster Shark, Mako Mania, White Marlin Open, Mid-Atlantic 500, Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout, and many other striped bass tournaments on the ASA Striper Trail. Captain Joe is the owner/operator of Chasin'tail Sportfishing Charters out of Port Monmouth, NJ. He is affiliated with companies which include Keepin' It Reel, H2o Lures, Seaguar, Avet Reels, and Sting-o Fish

He loves the excitement of catching big game fish and watching others experience the same thrill. Having recently completed his Captain’s certification, Spencer has teamed up with his father as the First Captain for Tightline Tours.

Specifically targeting Striped Bass and mostly Bottom Fishing for Fluke, Seabass and Blackfish. Kris holds a 50 ton Masters U.S.C.G. License. He is a career fisherman running the boat 7 days a week.

Captain Mike Sisto is a USCG licensed captain, who is the owner and operator of Jersey Key Charters. He grew up local to the Raritan Bay and has been fishing it for 20 years. Mike has expanded his fishing experience by working on boats that allowed him to fish the Florida Keys, Bahamas, Virginia Beach, and Montauk. He has combined these various fishing skills and techniques with his own local knowledge, which allow him to bring many different styles to each trip. Mike has also been heavily active in tournament fishing with Contender Boats, including the White Marlin Open, Beach Haven White Marlin Open, Mid Atlantic 500, Mako Mania, Brett Bailey, and several Florida sailfish tournaments. All anglers that fish with Capt. Mike will have clean, top-of-the-line tackle, and a hard working crew to put you on fish!

 

Captain Rick Woerner

Captain Rick Woerner is a Masters Licensed U.S.C.G Captain, who is the owner and operator of Carnivore Sport Fishing, a 31 ft. Ocean Master CC, out of Keyport, New Jersey.  Captain Rick is a third generation owner of a family marina in Sewaren, New Jersey.  This is where Rick grew up acquiring local knowledge of the anglers from the Raritan Bay which included his father, a former charter captain of The Eagle in the 70’s. His love for the water led him to the Coast Guard where he served until 2002.  Soon after, he purchased his first boat and got started working inshore for stripers, weakfish and fluke.  These days Rick can be found from the back-bay to the canyon edges, fishing for every species in between, from stripers to big eye tuna. Whether he is taking out charters or fishing with his team; Capt. Rick gets on the water as much as possible.  He recently got started on the seminar circuit at the NJ Boat Show in Edison where he spoke about catching BIG fluke in the back bays of New Jersey.  Along with being written up in the Star Ledger Rick and his team have placed in several local tournaments, most recently taking 2nd in the 2014 JCAA annual fluke tournament, landing him on the Aug 2014 cover of The Fisherman Magazine.  Captain Rick is also a Pro Staff Captain for Costa Sunglasses.
